Es ist Ostern, es ist Zeit für Farbe. Viel Farbe. Oder zumindest neue Farbkombinationen. Ich weiß ja nicht, wie es euch so geht, aber gerade bei Lidschatten bin ich da nicht gerade der Mutigsten einer und ich will mir dann auch von meiner Familie nicht anhören müssen, ob da beim Eierfärben was auf meine Augen gekommen ist...
Deshalb hab ich versucht, eine gute Balance zwischen bunt und omitauglich zu finden und das ist dabei rausgekommen ;)
It's Easter time, it's time for colour. A whole lot of colour. Or at least new colour combinations. I don't know about you, but when it comes down to eyeshadow, I'm not the most daring person out there. And also I do not desire my family to question me all the time whether all that colour on my eyelids is a leftover from dying eggs for easter.
That's why I tried to find a balance between colourful and grandma-compliant and this is how it turned out ;)
Ich habe die Rival de Loop Colour Star Palette erst vor 2 Wochen gekauft, die Farben sind wirklich schön, richtig gut pigmentiert ist sie allerdings nicht. Kann man aber für einen Preis von ca. 4€ auch nicht erwarten, denke ich. Der Monolidschatten ist da schon etwas stärker pigmentiert, ich finde diesen entigen Gelbton aber für meine sehr helle Haut auch schwierig zu tragen, deshalb habe ich ihn mit dem weißen Perlmuttton der Palette gemischt.
I bought the Rival de Loop Colour Star Palette only 2 weeks ago, the colours are beautiful indeed, not really pigmented though, but I guess one can't expect much more from it when it costed only 4€. The yellow eyeshadow is a bit more pigmented, although I find that loud yellow quite hard to pull off with a fair skin tone like mine. That's why I toned it down with the lightest colour of the palette.
Ich habe das bewegliche obere Lid mit dem cremeweißen Alverde-Lidschatten grundiert und den blaustichigeren Grünton der Palette auf dem äußeren Augenwinkel verteilt. Dann habe ich den gelben Lidschatten mit dem hellsten Ton der Palette gemischt und am inneren Augenwinkel aufgetragen. Danach habe ich alles mit dem wärmeren Grünton der Palette verblendet.
Fehlte bloß noch der schwarze Lidstrich, fertig.
Den unteren Lidrand habe ich zu 2/3 vom äußeren Augenwinkel aus mit dem grünen Kajal von Manhattan nachgezogen. Direkt danach bin ich mit dem grauen Kajal von Artdeco noch einmal nur über das äußere Drittel rüber gegangen und habe danach beides ein bisschen verwischt.
Zu guter Letzt wie immer Wimpernzange, Mascara für die oberen und unteren Wimpern, tadaa.
I primed the upper lid with the creamy white eyeshadow from Alverde and applied the bluer toned eyeshadow from the palette to the outer corner of the lid. Then I mixed the yellow shadow with the lightest tone of the palette and put it on the inner corner. Afterwards I blended it all in with the warmer green tone. Black liner, done.
I lined 2/3 of the lower lid beginning from the outer corner with the green liner from Manhattan and topped it off with the grey liner from Artdeco, limiting that one to the outer third of the lid. Then I smudged these two together, curled my lashes, applied mascara to the upper and lower lashes, tadaa.
